Hi, I'm Sara.Money coach and financial wellness consultant for first-gen professionals
I'm a social worker, money coach, and consultant who is passionate about helping people heal their relationship with money. Through financial wellness coaching, I support individuals in exploring the emotional side of money such as the beliefs, patterns, and experiences that shape how we earn, spend, and feel about our finances.
My journey into this work began with my own struggles with money and mental health. Growing up, I witnessed the emotional and financial stress that comes from instability and scarcity. Like many first-generation individuals, I carried the pressure to "succeed" and create the stability my family longed for. When my mom lost her job and our family faced major financial challenges, I saw how deeply money and mental health were connected.
Later, navigating my own experiences with anxiety, ADHD, and financial setbacks pushed me to look inward. I realized that money isn't just about numbers. It's about our emotions, our upbringing, and our sense of safety. Doing my own healing helped me unpack my money story, break free from old patterns, and build a relationship with money that feels grounded and empowering.
That transformation became my why. I want to help others experience the same peace, clarity, and confidence around their finances. When we heal our relationship with money, we don't just change our finances, we change the way we show up for ourselves and the life we're creating. I am excited to have you here!

"You don't have to do this alone."
Why my approach is different
01
Culturally responsive
Money and mental health are deeply influenced by our upbringing, values, and community and are tied to identity, family expectations, and cultural beliefs. By acknowledging these influences, we create a more inclusive and compassionate space where you feel seen, understood, and supported.
02
Trauma informed
Financial struggles, family conflict, and systemic barriers can leave lasting emotional wounds. A trauma-informed approach centers compassion, safety, and empowerment. We want to help you rebuild a healthier relationship with money and with yourself.
03
Holistic
Money and mental health connect with every part of your life: emotional, social, cultural, and physical. We look at root causes, patterns, and environments to create sustainable change and true balance, not just quick fixes.
